Hmm... somehow I manged to post four random images to four individual posts just now. I don't think I have completely worked out how to use Flickr from my phone. In any case, I've gathered up my random posts and meshed them all together here. Yesterday was a full day of ATC making for an up-coming event in January (cue: excitable happy dance).
The challenge for this event is to make 50 ATCs. Given I've only made about 5 in my lifetime, and all of them recently, this really defines the word 'challenge'.
So I jumped right in and began with a technique I picked up from a papercraft show earlier this year, demonstrated by Rachel Greig of Darkroom Door (and there is a little hint about the upcoming event...).
This technique uses a white crayon to create a resistance to the inks that are added, and it is so effective... especially on a bright background.
