A little over ten years ago,
Bell (my best bud of 20 years) and I had our first overseas trip – to . A decade later and with a casual agreement to go overseas again, we find ourselves boarding a rather large boat for two weeks at sea: Egypt
How this particular trip came about was all a little bit random - originally I thought our next trip together would be somewhere in
Europe… that was the rough plan. However, when we walked into a Crafting Expo last year at the , the first stall we came to belonged to my favourite stamp designer: DarkroomDoor. We noticed a "stamping cruise" flyer on Rachel’s table and jokingly started planning our next trip together. I began to wonder if there would be any vacant spots by the time we made up our minds, and more-so what my husband would think about me disappearing for a fortnight on a crafting cruise. Exhibition Building
The cruise had changed dates and they just happened to have a couple of spaces available. Husband was fine about it, we were giddy as school kids, and here we are now: walking the plank onto a ridiculously big ship with crafting workshops, swimming pools and crystal blue water as far as the eye can see. I have my ginger pills at the ready in case of sea-sickness, and my distress inks in case of crafting emergencies.
So, ciao for now! See you all back here in a couple of weeks.
P.S. Did I mention I am disconnecting entirely from the online world? How will I cope…? Please do not do anything exciting until I return, as my RSS reader will burst at the seams.
